And answers any questions that I may have had regarding this topic. How many times I have had what I thought to be decent ideas or responses, but lacked the confidence obviously needed to say what was on my mind and express my ideas in words in a social manner. How many times I have wanted to respond to someones request for help in a forum, but remained silent, even when I knew my solution to be solid and proven.</p> <p>I think I know what I have to do in order to become what I want to be, and it would seem a good part of it has nothing to do with knowing the language or technology, or being able to recite what each and every function does from the PHP manual.</p> <p>That is not to say the technical side of things is un-necessary, but there is more to being a good developer than just the technical side of things.</p> <p>Thanks for your words of wisdom, and all you have taught me both directly and indirectly.
