The Ideal Day

What would make tomorrow a success?

I came a cross this post by James Shelly awhile ago and have been giving it some thought.

I’d like every day to be an ideal day. Everyday should be a day where I enjoy life, have fun with my wife and kids, and do the things I want to do. But, here’s the thing: There’s nothing stopping me from doing that every day. I enjoy my job, I have a wonderful family and I have numerous things I enjoy doing. When I think about it, the only days that are not ideal are the days where I’m ignoring those things, trying to make a future day more ideal.

Perhaps that’s the problem.
